Nice setup, what's the stock?

As of right now overstocked. That is why I am about to set up the kiddie pool. Had plans to move them to a 125 but life happened. Here is the stock.

1 EBJD
1 albino channel catfish
1 BGK
1 lima shovel nose
1 tire track eel
1 albino bn pleco
1 candy stripe pleco
1 random african cichlid that is about to get rehomed.
1 CAE
2 pictus cats (1 4-line 1 spotted)
2 spotted rapheals
2 Jewel cichlids
3 striped rapheals

It used to be a lot worse but I have downsized. Should have the pool up and running in a week or two.

Wow, that is a lot of fish for that tank and yet I can only spot 5 of them in the picture. Good luck with the pool setup. How big is the pool going to be?

Yea when looking at the tank and looking at the water params you wouldnt think there was that many fish. The pool however will be 2300 approximate. More likely to be right at 2k. That however should hold my the channel cat, lima shovelnose, eel and the pictus cats and more fishes lol. Would much rather just upgrade to a 125g indoor tank and then build a nice display pond but me and the wife recently had to move in with my parents and there just is not enough space but they are cool with me setting up the pool.

Still dont know if I should start a bit smaller until the catfish grows more. What do you think? The pool I am looking at is only $150 plus the materials to build the filtration. I just dont know what would be better for the fish.

Bigger is always better if you can maintain it.

The pool will be placed outside for space. Any perspective on maintaining an outdoor pond/pool for fish of that size?

Filter socks and k1 kaldness moving bed media in a big moving bed filter. Your going to need a high flow pump to properly circulate that pool

Yea I am planning on using a 50g food grade drum full of media. I will have it partially covered to provide cool spots in the summer and a heater in the drum in the winter.
