Hey All
I switched from a Malawi to a Tanganyikan tank a few years back and I have my first Cyp who is holding.
She kept coming out and looking like she wanted to eat with the rest of the fish, but would stop short.
The other day I couldn't believe it when I saw her start grabbing food and not spitting it out. I checked to see if maybe she released the eggs and nope, they're still in there.
I have no idea how she is doing this or if it's common, but I'm glad to know she won't get too weak while she's holding.
I'll try to post some pics later.
thanks
Stephen
