my Cyprichromis is holding

Well when i got up this morning i found that one of my Cyprichromis leptosoma is holding eggs, i was wondering how many of you on this site have breed them with success and if you have any advice for me as i did not try to breed them they are in my tang comunity tank . I do not want to strip the fry i think i will see if they can make it in the tank as i think they are kinda large when they are let go. thanks mike

Congrats. I am sure a couple may make it. Usually some survive in community tanks if there are enough hiding spots that are small.

Don't know much about tangs but Congrats anyway.

do not stripe them, their jaws are so fragile that it can damage their mouths. Let it ride, or get another tank setup and later when the fry have hatched move her.

i love cyprichromis getting some of my own soon, not sure how many but probably be about 25 as im getting from a wholesaler
