My Dad's Pond

When I was growing up in the Philippines, this pond is what house all my fish. My Dad wanted some low maintenance fish and back in 2000 when I came to visit, I dropped in a bunch of mixed African cichlids. If I remember right I dropped in Red Zebras, Blue Zebras, Venustus and some other haps that I forget. But after all these years, all the fish are gone except all Blue Zebras that have been breeding prolifically and a lone Venustus. Other fish in the pond are common plecos and some baby Flowerhorns that EFeX gave me Believe me, if I was living in the Philippines still, It would be filed with Monsters.

Sorry for the murky water but the pond has no filtration.

Nope. Been bugging my parents for years since I was a kid. That's why they wanted low maintenance fish.

Nice looking pond, since there is no filtration, could you possible add some plants to clear the water up maybe?

It has an overflow spout on one end of the pond. We let the water run every few days but aside from that, that's pretty much it.
