I decided to start this thread to show the growth on my 2 goonches in the months/years to come. My HLG looks extremely intimidating so I decided to call it a boy and name him Azaron. Since the rutilis is smaller, fatter and cuter, I decided to call it a girl and name her Ezra. I will start this thread with pics from the day I got them, Azaron a few weeks ago and Ezra today.

Thank you! Those are actually scombs, but once the goonches are bigger, they will be joining a couple armatus and a bunch of bichirs and yes, that is an aba aba. Surprisingly, it is the least aggressive in the tank even though it is the largest.

Thanks. I can try but it won't be very good quality cuz all I've got is my phone. Also it would be a lot of sitting around and waiting cuz the goonches only eat live. I'm still working on converting them to dead or massivore.

That highland looks boss man. I love those fish, they just ooze malice.
 
Update: Ezra goes crazy for massivore! So stoked about that. Azaron on the other hand could still care less. Hopefully soon. It's been about 5 days since he last ate.

Looking good! Those scomb and knife fish may become feeders. Watch out...
