I seriously was about to get rid of the Datnoid in the pic because he was very shy when I first bought him but until I got a chance to trained him to accept pellets and eat of my hand I realized that this guy is a keeper. For some reason I have notice his color is really dark for a 3" Indo.

Hi,

Yes...this is normal for a dat. Dat need more time to stable down. Also it depend on the environment in the tank. The more Dats and tank mate together the more they get stable.
However your dat is very nice and stable now. Good job!!! Keep it up.
Imagine if this guy is 18" in, it will be nicer then an arowana.

I like its pattern. For IT's anything but 4 bar staple is extra beautiful to me.:headbang2
 
I'm surprised the flagtails Havnt killed each other! I like The oddball in the last pic. Is it same both sides ?
