My Dat gave up.... so quickly...woo whoo!!

I just wanted to share that my Indo Dat has given up and accepted to eat pellets now... YAY! The person i got it from only fed small feeders, But i never feed any of my fishes live food... so i decided to see how long it will take for it to switch and accept other foods. He/she finally gave up in two weeks, and now eating pellets! I heard some starve themselves for a few months till they give in. Man.... i was starting to get worried though haha.
I guess having him in a divided tank with a fish that eats pellets like theres no freaking tomorrow speeded up the process... kinda like monkey see, monkey do. But this is Fishy see, Fishy do!! Heres a pic of him... he's only 3.5"..

Thats nice to hear, i am trying right now with my Perch. Been 7 days since he hasnt eaten. I tried a few teacher fish and it was a disaster since he attacked them. I am a bit worried and wonder how long he can hold out.

Pyramid_Party...... Try to put a divider in between them so he doesn't eat his teachers. hahah...

I see, its a bit risky. I will try some more starving etc. I may try a teacher again, but this time with a divider. Can I ask, what did you use as a teacher?

My teacher is a Kamalau FH crossed with a Red tiger mota. Man... that teacher eats pellets and anything else i throw in the tank, non stop.... its awesome!
