i know, feeders is no bueno, but i was trying to show my gf how awesome datnoids feed. i got him on a frozen bloodworm and krill diet right now, gonna try to get him to eat pellets as he gets a bit bigger.

he's about 3"-3.5" right now. i want to pick up more datnoids and frontosa when i get a bigger tank. i <3 datnoids.

so what do you guys think it is, so when i tell my friends about my datnoid, i just don't say datnoid, i want some scientific lingo! lol

here's some pictures of more mature bigger datnoids (there were about 4 of them in the tank) that i just snapped at the LFS. i love seeing them that size. hope mine gets that big.

nice dat! looks like an indo to me,,but then again im no expert....

The one you got is an indo dat (Datnioides microleptis) and of the three big ones in the picture, the first is an indo and the other two to the right are NTT (Datnioides undecimradiatus).

Nice dats that store has.I would grab that nice looking three bar indo and that NTT.

Yup. The first pic, that thinbar is pick of the bunch. I would buy that thinbar straightaway if I saw it at my lfs.
