My dat

I'm a dat noob- kindly enlighten me what I've got in my tank. I've had him for a year, got him in a trade. He's now over a foot long, fat and loves massivore. Stable 100% of the time. I never wondered about the different dats, but thought I'd ask the pros now.

A gorgeous indo datnoid AKA IT dat. You can easily tell it's an indo based off the sexual charisma the fish is giving off.

Nice looking Indo .... How is he in your planted tank?

He works as gardener. He clears one side of the tank from anything that grows higher than a few inches. I tried to transfer a larger Amazon sword there, and he kept biting leaves off until it was a bonsai. The middle and other side, however, is apparently not in his job description and he leaves it untouched.
Totally weird. Especially because he hangs out on both sides of the tank.
