i got 3 datnoids, 2 IT and one NTT
my dats are at 1.5 inches and i starved them for about a week already. should i get them bigger and then convert or should i keep trying to feed them pellets?

or should i keep them on frozen bloodworms for 3 weeks then move on to pellets and starve?

AT this size you don't really want to starve these guys. I would fatten them up w/ FB first. Then eventually mix pellets in the FB and let the pellets soak in the juices. They should eat it up. At that size they are usually pretty easy to convert to different foods. GL.

so like i soak the pellets and the bloodworms into a saucer and drop the pellets into the tank?

I had success by feeding frozen foods (mysis, brine, BW) for several weeks, and than one morning i soaked some sinking carnivore in the frozen food "juice" and they ate them. Now, one week later, they are eating sinking carnivore, DRY!! GL with changing!

Yep that will work.

I'm feeding freeze dried blood worms, brine shrimp, and live black worms to my little ones. They won't take anything else.

The girl at the LFS recommended soaking pellets or any dry food in Garlic Guard by Seachem to try and convert them. Plus she said it is good for their health. I've never heard of the stuff, figured I'd give it a try, $6.99 for 8.5 oz bottle.

Has anyone tried it?
