Does anyone else have a nasty datnoid?Mine won't get along with any other fish.He smashes into any fish i have tried to put in with him.He is almost 8 inches and a NGT.Would he survive with peacocks twice his size???keep in mind he is a real jerk!

NGT are known to be a little more agro, but I can not speak from experience.

I do have a little 3" IT that thinks he could beat on my 12" NTT. He even would rush out from under his log and ram the 12" armatus! He is 5" now and when I had the armatus. He has a big pair for sure!

Don't have any "jerks" but JD is right, NGT are the meanest.

What size tank is it in?

I have to admit that I haven't run into any problems with my NGT. I thought the rule-of-thumb for peacocks was that the tankmates should be at least 2/3 their size.

There is a solution to this considering I live just north of Boston...you can sell him to me. :naughty:

Does he have his own little place i find if i give my dat's there own big flower pot or cave they leave everyone alone un less they try to get into there spot.

NGT are nothing but trouble if you ask me nice tigers but to much trouble

the only way for peace is if the NGT is much smaller than the other fish even then once they get above 7inch the attack most things

nice fish great color if you dont mind the trouble

My ST is a real bastard. I only go's well with fish that won't respond to him attacking (not even swimming away) or fish that can defend themselfves.

I have a channa (not responding) and a panaque (defending) in with him now. He finds mid/top level swimmers most annoying.

We are going to try putting him in the big tank with the p's. If that doesn't work he's up for sale to the highest bidder. LOL
