Today i noticed one of my 12" Indo dats has a cloudy eye. Plus his gills look to be a bit red on the outside. He is also a bit more lethargic. What should I treat him with? I was thinking melafix or something like that? I am a bit uncertain what to treat with since there is a stingray in the tank. Any help?
Much thanks.

Cloudy eye in dats is usually caused by something in the water and your dat could go blind in that eye if you don't do something fast.Does the ray seem to be affected by anything that you can tell?...I would do a water change.

Is the tiger breathing heavy? Is it eating ?

If the redness gets worse, and very heavy breathing sets in, u should transfer him and treat for gill flukes..... I think this might be what's causing it.

I would use kazuri wormer plus, as a last resort. Used this before with rays in tank with no issues.

Or treat with high doses of salt and increase temperature.

Cloudy eye can mean bad water or being waked by another fish.
Keep an eye, if it doesn't get any worse, keep up with frequent water changes.

Every other fish in the tank is fine and the ray is fine and eating. The datnoid is eating but about 50% less than what he did before.

I have never hear of kazuri wormer plus? What would you suggest that as a last resort?
I did a water change last night after I posted this thread.
When I get home I will post a picture I think that will help.

just add a lot salt high 82* temp he will be fine in a week
