My Datnoid Shy

Hi MFKs,

I've got my Datnoid 2 months already, and it's always staying behind the water pumper, and rarely hanging out with the other tank mates.

Is there any to make this fish more active like the other tank mates?(jardini, discus, polypterus, pleco that i had).

get more dats and get rid of hidding spots thats the only thing you could do but remember thats just how most dats are. My dats dont like bright light...as soon as the lights come on they hide were ever they can and if they can find a spot they just hid all together in a spot

Like the OP said, add a couple more dats. Also, what are the tank mates? I find that having active silver/metallic coloured tankmates help. From my experience, this is a big factor as mine are still active with really bright lights after having added the tankmates.
