okk so i have 3 datnoids and they are all around 1.75 inches. I also have 2 baby clown loaches and a baby ghost knife and a long fin pleco.
i currently have them all on frozen brine shrimp or frozen bloodworms.
they all love this and they immediately eat it once it hits the water.
my questions is how do i get the dats on pellets when they are in the same tank as the other fishes?
do i starve all of the fish in the tank because my other fish eat bloodworms or brineshrimp and if i drop in the frozen cube the dats will start eating?

also do dats like current? because im thinking about adding an internal filter.

and are freeze dried bloodworms a good daily diet for the fish if i cant convert them to pellets?

ohh and im thinking about purchasing some worms at my local worm shop.
are dats going to be able to eat blue or red worms?

i would have to say no to a freezedried bloodworm diet mostly because i prefer frozen cus it sinks eventually.
Id also say no to internals cus they dont look good, rnt always the strongest, and take up tank space

to wean them onto pellets feed them bloodworms and save the water then marinate them

i dont think bgks will accpet pellets but idk

i recomend massivore delite by Hikari
expensive byut worthj it

does freeze dried have more protein cause my dats dont mind going to the top to eat food.
also how am i supposed to starve them cause they are in the same tank as my other fish?

def. too small too starve. have u tried pellets? try some frzn krill.

does krill have the best nutrition value?

Pellets are going to have the best nutrition for your fish. All of the fish you have listed will take pellets eventually. As others have said, try the marinating process to get your dats to take the pellets (massivore). It will take some time for them to convert to pellets so give it time. And you can't really starve one fish in your tank without starving the other fish.

Yup. Too small to starve/convert at 1.5 inch. Plus you'll be worried like crazy when they dont eat at that size. Fatten up to say 2.5 inch then try converting. At the moment feed what they will eat and keep adding other foods in the mix.

I manage to convert 2 ngt 2 inch size, but only cause I was converting rays to pellets. 2 inch is minimum size. And baby ngt seem alot hardier than baby IT.

i had a bgk and they do eat pellets they eat this stuff called bio gold and what gazelle said marinate them in the water sauce!!!

My fish are around the same size and I am waiting for them to hit the 4 inch mark before I starve them. Just let them eat anything they want for now.
