I finally cleared out some room in the 156g tank. I sold a few fish and put my 8 2.5" IT's in. While they were in the 28g for the last few months, I was starting to think they were boring because all they did was hide all day and night. I was even considering selling them but now I'm glad I didn't. In the big tank they're still hiding, but here and there they come out and and swim the tank, explore, and show some personality. It's really the first time I'm able to see them other than darting out to catch a piece of krill or something and right back again. Oh and do these thing grow slow or what??

get some dithers like silver dollars, or tinfoils they will come out wayyyy more :)

Feed them Raw pealed shrimp, and watch them grow. They will get big alot faster that way. I got my first one about 2 months ago, and I will never turn back. COOL FISH

good to hear balton! Let's see pics of them!

good news. after a day of settling in, mine at 3 feeders. still hangs out between the same rock and plants for the most part, but is getting around. by far, the fastest and best at catching feeders of all my fish. the payara may be faster, but it hasn't gotten any feeders yet as it hasn't settled in yet. i only fed feeders to get my payara to eat something.

Mine don't get feeders. I finally got them to start eating NLS pellets and Hikari Sinking Carnivore pellets. I don't want to ruin it.
