Beautiful specimen too!!!

Really sorry for your loss. I almost lost all of my fish that I personally caught from a powerhead acting up. That would have been 14 fish!! Including a few of the younger fish that were 2 and 3 inches in late April, they are now 5 and 6 inches.

Best of Luck with your new rays when you get them!!!

that stinks..sorry for your loss :(

OUCH, that sucks. Sorry!

Terrible find this Faisal.....really sorry mate!
A similar thing happened to me,i lost my favourite Hystrix pup(female) about a year ago,i had grown her to 10 inches, she climbed out of the tank because i had filled it just one inch more than usual.Like you i got there just too late, she was still breathing but stuck to the floor, tried reviving her for hours after but the damage was done, still very upset about this a year on but its a case of chin up and get on with it isnt it?Needless to say my tanks all have covers over them now!
You have a wonderful collection of rays but that wont comfort you that much just now.............Don't blame yourself, there will be many people on this forum that will have a similar devastating story just like ours!
All the best to you!

oh no I'm sorry to hear this. things like this are actually more common than you think so dont beat yourself up over it to bad.

thanks for all the well wishes , my head still spinning with all of the what if.... probably will ruin my mood til end of the year..

Richard, yeap.. in my case.. need to drill a hole to prevent the water to overflow to the top and also fixing a cover which i delay for quite sometime now.. an expensive wake-up call of sort...
