... but is my most favorite fish I have right now!!!
I picked up a 7" one from Wes at Rare Fish and man does this thing look awesome!!
At first I didnt think I was going to like it because it just sits there under one of the overhangs I made with rocks. Every once in a while it will go up to the surface and hang on top of the spray bar.
Not only that... I have to tube feed the sucker because all the other fish are fast pigs that will eat all his food before it reaches him.
But I think thats one of the reasons I like this fish.. I got to really take care of it. It learned to recognize the feeding tube and now goes right up to it when its feeding time.. I probably will be able to hand feed him very soon... but the tank is kinda deep for me to stick my hand in all the way to the bottom
Nobody messes with him either. I got a breeding pair of GTs in there. When any other fish get close the the fry, the mom and pop get crazy on them, but when the Delhezi gets cloze, it seems the just nudge him with their head until he leaves. If he keeps coming back, he gets a nip on the size. Nothing serious. He just backs away at that point.
Pretty awesome fish. I love the way it swims, feeds and acts in the tank.. I suggest this fish to anyone!! Great personality.

Bichirs are very addictive. I miss my albino senegal, but I'll be getting a delhezi soon. Good luck with your delhezi. Any pics?
