about a week ago i bought 2 3" pigeon bloods and 1 3" german blue discus. yesterday i noticed that the german wasnt eating. and today i saw a couple of spots on it. what should i do i want to raise the temp but im afraid it might kill the fish. my fish are 10 glowlights, 1 clown loach, 2 otocinclus, and 4 discus. i couldnt quarantine them because i dont have enough money to buy a small tank.

do the spots look like little grains of salt? if that's the case, then it's ich

What is your temperature usually? I did warn you before to quarantine the new fish. Increase temp to 86 degrees, dissolve a tablespoon per 5g dose of table salt and slowly add to the tank. Do treatment for 14 days.

I would bring the temp up to 90. When adding new discus 90 degrees with a little salt for a month is a good preventative measure. What temp are you at right now anyways? (I don't know how the otocinclus or the glow lights will take the temp but my loaches never seem to have a problem with 90.)

I too have ICK on my fish.. just one day so far..

Current fish being affected for me are FHs and EBJD... I had an Oscar that died on me yesterday, he was cliped by one of my FHs and it started getting sick.. I basically pulled out all the fish.. changed out all the gravel and my filter and rescrubed the tank.. their now in half old water and half clean water.. (I didnt want to kill them by changing all new water) ...

I would recommend this article

I'm currently doing whatever it says so far.. as for treatments. try these products.. but just one of them.. don't over do it..
