My Discus Tank

Someone had posted on one my threads that my Discus would die in my tank because they would not be able to eat.

As you can see the Discus are as aggressive as any other fish in my tank. They are not hiding in the corner frightened or get startled when you walk up to the face of the tank.

What is the fish that has sort of a angelfish body shape with a black stripe? Crazy that bass is ok in there. My 14 inch bass recently ate or tried to eat a 8 inch tinfoil barb.

I was told mine would die too because I have young discus in a planted tank with some other fish.
So far so good. I don't think people give discus enough credit frankly.

Wow... Awesome Tank. I started keeping Discus nearly 2 years ago. They are great fish and not at all difficult like the stories you hear. Tank raised domestic Discus are much more stout than their wild counterparts.

That's what I have too, but a bunch of red heads that uproot my plants. The discus are doing well too. They are hardier than they look.


Hey Joey, did Julian give you the discus bug too? Nice tank! Altums are growing on me now that I've seen them in a tank similar to mine
