Hi ,
I am noticing that one of the PB's I have is outgrowing the other 6 fish .
Please let me know what you think of these guys , I am starting to worry i have some stunted fish. There are 2 PB that are doing well ( one REALLY well) the BD seem to be growing , and the RTSS seems to be as well , but none as well as the PB.... there is one PB and one RT that seem to have stalled in growth

Thanks

Fish are just like people....some grow bigger than others, others take longer to develop. There are some strains out there that just dont get that big. If you are keeping the water clean and feeding them a good protien diet then there is really nothing else you can do. Just give them some time and see what happens.

From what I have read and I have seen with my own fish it is common for BP to grow faster then others. Mine also was bought smaller then my others and is growing faster then the others.

How long have you had them? They all look a little stunted, but unless you are growing them out to be show quality it is not a big deal. (requires 2 to3 WC a day from a very young age, and pumping them up with beefheart).

As long as they are all eating and pooing properly, then they should be fine. :)

dont worry bout it. its natural. the top fish is usually the largest fish. the largest one gets to eat the most, and grows the most (and faster).

Three do look like they are kinda small. but nothing bad.

Just focus on giving them a nice diet and water changes and you'll be fine.
