my diy 180 stand

heres a couple pics of the stand i built for my 180. i still need to do the canopy but so far not too bad. the fit is so tight in my house that i actually had to cut the trim board off the wall to fit the stand and the stand is only finished on the 2 visible sides to fit it. my house isnt small but when i bought it i remodeled and removed most the walls in the living area to open it up, the 2x4 framing for the stand actually came from the old walls.

I like it D! What kind of wood did you use to skin it again? I can't remember and I need to get off my lazy butt and finish mine... I like the color too. and the Vieja

thanks! i used 1/4" birch. colorwise we were trying to match our "espresso" colored tv cabinet, got just about spot on.

some carpintis/bp hybrids from spizz and A xilo's, my pleco, and a small jardini aro.

still want to add a gt and ???? for color. i want the most gawd awefull colorfull tank i can get, and keep it packed to help curb aggresion.
