First off, thanks for all the help ive recieved from this place, i did alot of reading and decided to make the best of having two 55 gallon tanks that were in need of repair.

What you see in the pictures is a tank with the footprint:
48" long, x 12" tall, x 20.5" front to back.

its the size of a standard 55 gallon tank, only its laid on its side, i used the bottoms from two 55 gallon tanks, the front from one, and the end pieces from one (yes i have extra pieces left over for a later project)

anyway thats about all the explination i have for what you see in the pictures, but id atleast show my rough setup (and my stand i built for it)

please excuse the mess and the little pieces of foam from where i cut the foam to fit the stand top.

nice whats gonna be stocked in it

dont really have a clue yet, im just letting it run, its got tank water from a tank already setup, and the filter is from the same tank.

i built this to be a frag tank for my brother since he sells corals, but he's remodeling his home and doesnt have room for it right now.

ive still gotta think about what im going to put in it, but i have 50 pleco's coming in from florida and im going to have to put some of them in it, and some in my 90 gallon, some more in a 29 gallon, and probably a couple in a 10 and 35 gallon tank.

my other tanks arent well suited for baby pleco's.

ill probably add some sand and fine gravel and try out a couple of my longear sunfish in the tank, if not, maybe my 4" small mouth bass, ive also got 3 6-8" grass pickerel, i had a 4th but it jumped outta the tank last week and died.
