My diy canopy

so im building a canopy (for the 180/ 60x24)

1x8's
1x6's
plywood 3/8 bc
finishing nails
paint(inside high gloss white
stain(outside
fluresent light kits x 3
misc elec ..wires/boxes/switches
handles/hinges
85 bucks later

i cut 1x8's and nail the back and two sides together

then on the inside i framed it out w/ 1x6's to hold the canopy on top of the tank and have the top fit inside

very nice, design looks somewhat like the one i made :). any ventilation or is it enclosed ?

looks really nice good job

but... ummm.. post 1 pics 5 and 6... looks like it sits a bit too high and does not cover the top trim.. or am i just seeing it wrong?
