Thanks goes to rallysman's thread on his. Gave me some brillant ideas on how to get this going.


Not entirely complete yet. As all the connections need to be sealed and the overflow box needs to be moved from the old sump to the new one. Just on a mission to find scrubbies for the media basket.

Thanks, yours was the model. I was going to upgrade to a Mag 18 figuring about 7-8' of HH that should give us about 900 gph...trying to match my overflow,or should I add another overflow and increase my gph? besides the Mag are there any other choices that are fairly reasonable and won't go below 900gph at 8' of HH?

I'm loving the sequence pump that I got. It's a bit more expensive initially, but it'll make up the difference in power savings.
I would over size the pump and add a second overflow if necessary, but you can even just choke the pump with a ball valve if it flows too much.

Great! Sequence pumps not to familar with the brand/model..I'll google now!

We are just experminting with ideas, eventually this will be hidden. once we are satisfied with a few test runs.....I understand where you coming from tho

Your problem is obvious...You need a bigger stand .

Tell the powers-that-be I said you need it for your mental wellbeing .
