Well, as some may know already, I've been asking quite a bit about building my stand/rack. well, i finally have it built and somewhat setup.

Now let me start off, im no carpenter. But, it was easy enough, id totally do it again.

I have a couple pics from the build (taken with my phone) and ill hopefully get more shots as i finish it up completely.

The final dimensions are 72" long, 21" deep, and theres 19" in between each shelf.

Here, i just had 2 of the shelves done, and was trying to visually see the gap (in this pic, those are 2ft legs)

This shows the height of the top shelf, and the approximate height for the middle shelf.

This is with all shelves in, still needing to add the extra length and height supports

and here it is completely built.

and here it is, in its resting place in my room (basement, concrete floor).

i will be adding 2 more 10 gallons in the middle row to make a total of 6.

1 55
6 10s
2 20L

Next is getting an air pump and a few more sponges.... and figure how to heat all of this!

That looks great, congrats ! Can i ask what the rough cost of it was ? And also how do you go about doing water changes on the bottom racks ?

Looks good keep up the good work!

Thanks guys!!! as far as stocking..... not 100% sure what im going to do.... as of right now, the 2 tanks on the bottom are the only ones setup with fish.....i dont have enough air or heat for all the tanks.......

i bought an elite radiant heater cuz it was cheap, and was testing it out on a 10gallon, and just didnt trust it, so thats going back to the store, and i gotta figure out a somewhat decent way of heating all these tanks without costing me a fortune.

As far as cost.... im still working on totalling it up (alot of random trips to the hardware store lol)

And yes, the ultimate question...how the hell am i gonna fill the bottom tanks? well i didnt put that into considerationg (at least not much) when building this... it wasnt till after i had it built, and a tank sitting there to realize i needed a way to do this....

as it sits, theres enough room to fill the 55 with a bucket.... the 10's in the middle for now will be filled by placing bucket next to 55 and then siphoning down to the 10s with a hose.......

for the 20s on the bottom, i came up with this.

its a bad photo, but i built it out of pvc. its 2in pvc...the adapter u see is a 2" - 3" adapter, which comes off so i can use for the other tank. the rest of it is a 60deg, 90deg, some pvc pieces, and 2 metal straps to hold it in place. this way i can use a bucket pretty effortlessly, and not make a mess!!! ill get a better picture soon, i promise!
