My Dojo died and don't know why.......

I bought a golden dojo on the 17th, he looked good, was swimming around alot, quite active, especially at night with my kuhlis. My water levels are good, temp it right. The 18th he was good, didn't see him the 19th thought maybe he was hiding. This morning the 19th found him dead, and it looks like he has blood under his skin in head area. Could this be the cause of his death or could this have happened after his death. There are no scrapes etc.....

ph a 6 and nitrates etc a 0

I'd be very worried if your nitrates are at 0. Your tank probably isn't cycled at all. Check your ammonia. Either that, or you think 0 is good and you're lying in hopes that other answers will satisfy you.
