So I've had my 4 dojos for almost a year now. They have always seemed happy and active and healthy and I love them! I got them at about 3-4" long and about 0.25" thick, now they are about 5" long and 0.5" thick. I've read they are slow growers but is that about right? I know they get up to about 8-12" long and 1" thick, does it really take years to get there?
They are in a 20 gallon tank and I feed them goldfish flakes / pellets / bloodworms. I have a massive sponge filter and then a fluval HOB, not sure which one. I've never seen ammonia or nitrates, nitrates stay below 10 since it's a low bio loa tank and lots of WCs.
And of course, some pictures.
