my dovii almost dired up

my new dovii was almost dried up this morning when i woke up found him in a pant vase. struggling to recover but is breathing now after 20 min of holding him. he jumped through the back splash in one of the corners. ill keep everyone updated i think if he pulls through his name will be Lazarus

the real kicker is i dont wake up this early ever i woke up to take a piss and just decided to check on the tank

I had a JD do that once. He was dry and wrapped in lint and fuzz from being under a dresser upon which sat his home. After waking me thumping the dresser I drained the tank and rescued him. It took a few days but he was fine. I think since your dovi is breathing he`ll be OK. Just be glad you did`nt have to give him mouth to mouth!

i ran him along the tank to force water over his gills. i reached into the vase expecting himto be dried up and when i touched him he jumped to i was luck o crap and just dropped him into the tank
