My Dovii just Laid its egg what should I do

Should I take out the Dovii's and Red Belly Pacu so they don't eat the eggs?

the parents should fend them off..
but most would say move them out

I agree the parents will protect the eggs with lilttle problem but I would take the others out not only for the babies/eggs but for the other fish as well I wouldn't want to see you lose a fish do to stress of being pounded on!!!!

Did you have any success with your dovii eggs?

My largest female dovii laid her first batch of eggs a few weeks ago inside the clay pot I placed in the tank. I was excited to see the eggs, but I guess the male didn't take care of his business. A few days later, the eggs were gone.

Oh well, maybe things will work out better next time.
