my dovii's missing teeth!

my 13" dovii has lost another tooth, he is down to about three now...his gum line looks infected on both the top and bottom lips from the teeth peircing through....any help?...

my dovii occasianally looses teeth but they always grow back, have you treid melafix or any other types of wound treatment?

Yea I agree.... I think dosing the tank w/ some melafix and pimafix as a preventative measure would be good for the lip damage.

I have heard of glass banging doviis loseing teeth from hitting the glass.

Just put salt in if you think its bad.. Fish naturally lose teeth and can knock them out, its normal.

i have rocks in my tank and my dovii is always dig i think i seen teeth in his mouth hmmmm 3 months of the past yr ...they grow back ..MINES just stupid and to bizzy diggin...im just wondering if theyll come back and stay if i put sand in

but the female layed eggs a few a weeks back..., the fry just hatched this week, what chemicals are safe for them to be exposed to so early in life?
