This is highly unlikely to happen but was thinking of getting a small inflatable pool to house a few monster fish. Is that suitable??? I was thinking of putting it in the basement. The basement is quite small but is a 5 feet by 2.5 to 3 feet pool going to house a black arowana and a hydro vitteus (tiger fish) and a couple of other maybe? Is the pool big enough and would they be good tankmates? can they be in there for life? where can you buy a pool like that?? I live in canada? Walmart?? Can I just hookup a canister filter for the pool?

please answer. thanks

I'd think Walmart would have them- though maybe not this time of year. Ask. They may have in storage.
Pay attention to jumping aro- get a good lid. Also be prepared for very high humidity in the basement- which might cause mould/fungi etc... may also reduce chapped lips in winter.

I already told you my opinion in your other thread...

Lol, will not work...eventually it will get a hole in it and deflate and you'll have a flooded basement. The tiger fish could even bite it and have the water go everywhere. That and the arowana could easily jump out.

So..ya... sounds like a recipe for disaster haha

Theres reasons why people dont have inflatable pools with monster fish

look into watering pools for farm animals.make a wood frame with mesh to cover the top to avoid fish jumping out.

I totally agree! Flooded basement will probably happen. Lol!

Flooded basement is a potential issue, but if the basement is rendered and unfinished.... why not just seal it with pond-armour and get a snorkel?

i agree with U! the only problem is, it my parent's house! LOLS
