lol, big ol tank with a school of monster striped bass feeding on 10 inch feeder trout. one day it will happen. i will update this thread in 10 years when i'm rich and have my own home with my monster dream tank.

Sounds cool.....I have so many fish I want, my wish list would take up a couple of pages. I would like a huge coldwater tank with Colorado Pikeminnow and Arctic Grayling, a room of warmwater tanks with every species of Lepomis in it, and of course a darter tank room, right next to my room filled with breeder tanks of endangered Pupfish.........Yeah I know it would take at least one big winning powerball ticket, but what the heck , if your gonna dream.......dream big!
 
A proper river tank would be the golden unicorn for me lol. Very long tank with good current and fish not usually represented in zoo river tanks. Shovelnose and Pallid sturgeon, goldeye and mooneye, large catfish, and bass. I would also have a sandbar/riffle area seperate from the big river tank with darters, minnows,shiners,and other smaller fish often found in large rivers. Colorful? ......no lol, but cool? most definitely.
 
my tank would be filled with 4 huge 600 pounds black grouper and some land on top for my panther to play around in.

Mine would have a school of Gars spotted or Florida, Many Lungfish patrolling the bottom, Bushy Nose Pleco's hanging out, a few Giant Snake Heads running laps, Fire and tire track Eels dominating all the rocks. about 10 musk turtles, a Florida Softshell Turtle, some Axolotls, Just a few wolf fish, and a couple schools of blackskirt tetras, random small cichlids to be terrified at ever turn. Most likely some rays too,
This would be a big tank with lots of rocks for caves, driftwood but not lacking in open space. Probably a good 40,000 gallon minimum
DEATH TANK!
 
Very nice, striped bass are indeed a cool native that i would love to keep in the future. My dream native tank would probably be one of those huge tanks in Bass Pro. Gotta love those tanks and fish!

oh man you've never seen the trophy striped bass down at willow beach arizona feed on the stocker trouts being realeased. we;re talking 20+ lb monsters chasing down rainbows. at midnight all you hear is big splashes. then they all go to sleep.
