this first piece I acquired recently I spent half an hour sawing while balancing on logs in lake Carnegie to get this most of it was already bleached by the sun. I mounted it on my kayak and managed to paddle away.

it is now soaking in dechlorinated water

nice drift woods lucky that u dont need to buy them as we do

I put hours of work to get them I have a small kayak I mounted it to the front and tied it down it worked well I whent fishing with it tied there caught a pike it was a good day. as long as you have wilderness you will have wood its just a question of taking a saw and finding it. how much do you think these would sell for Im not going to but drift wood is pricy so I didnt bother buying it.

those are some great pieces. I have been finding alot of my own driftwood also rather than buying it. It's much more satisfying, not to mention cheaper..

What part of NJ are you finding these in?

i like that last piece the most
