Just a couple pictures of my pet duck.
I wouldn't really call her exotic, but oh well.
Her name is sunny. These pictures were actually taken 2 1/2 months ago.
She's six months now, and laid her first egg today.
I'll have new pics uploaded tomorrow morning.
Haha, thanks.
Her behavior? She's really nice....kind of. She has her ups and downs.
It really reminds me of a cat. She never attacks me, but is very defensive toward me. Touch me and she will spring up, charge, and bite hard. A little kid learned his lesson. Yeah...anyways. Bathroom wise? The worst...ugh...the worst possible pet you can keep if you hate poop. Oh and don't get me started, IT SMELLS.
But if your responsible, and you don't mind. They are very fun pets. She'll crawl into my lap when I'm sitting down. And loves her belly petted. It's really the only kind of bird that you can touch and interact with. The key is raising them from eggs. Even the ducklings at the feed store, whom are 2 weeks old, yet have had no human interaction are very skittish. Males are much calmer, and better for pets. But I raised her, so I'm not giving her up. Did I mention she hates dogs?
