Hello!
This is my first Aquarium I set up 6 months ago.
It’s an 126 Liter / ~35 Gallon South America community Tank. The centerpiece fish is a pair of Apistogramma Baenschi, the rest of the stocks created around those two fish.
Stock:
1 pair Apistogramma Baenschi
12 Tetras
6 Black tail corydoras
1 Clown-Pleco
5 Amano Shrimp
2 Gars
Various Snails

It’s a planted Tank with pieces of wood and rocks, which create lots of hiding spots, which are often used from the pleco, who spends barely all day in those caves. I also added some leaves. I feed flake food, small and big pellets, and live food as often as I get some. They like Artemia very much.

Awesome tank setup. Great choices in fish.

Thank you!
I don’t know how it’s called in English. Of course it’s not a true gar, they max out around 3 inches. In Germany it’s called Querbandhechtling, which means something like „Banded Dwarf Gar“ or something like that. It’s in the family of Killifishes and is a close relative to the Golden Wonder Killifish, but as is said it stays smaller so no danger for the tetras.
