To a pair of 9 inches Armatus. The Emperor Blue Hook is about 4 inches in length, I did not feed the tank for 2 days due to work and coming in later no fish shops are opened, Just now I saw them giving big bites to 2 of the 3 EBH I have. Very wild fishes, these Armatus

What's your question? Is it whether your EBH's are going to be eaten? If so that would be a yes unless you separate them. Armatus when hungry eat anything that fits in their mouth.

Just amazed by the change in characters in these armatus as a scrawny little fish til now, nearly 9 inches, became a monster. They seems to be following the EBH and trying to get a good angle to give a bite

The ebh or red hook are hard to find. Why would you leave them in with large Armatus? Do your homework people.

When small they were not like that, and were pushed around. I am aware of armatus character, interesting to observe this character change.

The punch 2 small holes in the lower portion of the EBH stomach and pulled part of lower fin off, but surprisingly the EBH still munching away.

My scomb has shanked a few also, mostly because they invaded his space, if he wanted to eat them they'd be gone. Payara strike fast and it must be damn hard to escape the impallment of those large fangs.

Yeah, it is in their character that made these fish so sought after and the fangs that made more than skin level cut
