I've been looking to add one of these to my 75 but I can't find them ANYWHERE around here. He looks great.

What are some good ways to pellet train this guy, big fan of the brine shrimp and krill but not so much for the pellets

Try giving him a break for a day from the krill n the shrimp.....n then introduce a pellet each day...drop them from a foot away from the tank....slight water ripples excite fishes and he will atleast put them into his mouth initially...before he finally settles down to eating them

This ive tried. He immediately notices its a pellet and doesnt go for it. He sometimes looks like he shakes his head no lol ive heard soaking the pellet in garlic? Not really to familiar with that, all my fish have never really been picky

It may sound a little harsh...I would continue adding the pellet for couple more days...eventually he will be hungry , before trying them out....I tried these with my EBJD's and was successfull...By the way...how many of them do you have in ur tank...and how big is your tank

Tank is a 30 gal i believe, theres just one by itself. I have a 90 waiting for him once he gets a little bigger

What kind of pellets and how big? It might be to big for them to eat. Try crumbling the pellets or use small flakes. I feed mine crumbs of aquadine and they eat it no problem.
