He's almost seven inches right now..........sometimes hes agro and sometimes hes not........but overall i agree they aren't as bad..............

I've had him for two years and hes almost seven inches......he grew pretty fast untill he hit five inches then he really slowed up..........

I dont think that they can...thats why you have to get a reg JD to breed with them and then all the offspring will be blue or have the blue gene....I think....????

Mine was same thing. It grew quickly to 5" but the growth slowed down since then.
