So after about 6 weeks of offering my fire eel (Apollo) frozen food and him rejecting it, he took a bite, and every day he (or she) seems to be more and more interested in it. For a while it was he would just hide from me. Now every time I walk into my room he peaks his head out and if I open the lid he dances for me. I am ecstatic because now I don't have to make the hour drive (each way) for the only thing he would eat before, live black worms.

cool, what's it eating there? have you tried earthworms? they go nuts for earthworms.

I keep meaning to try earthworms! :) But, in this pic its a mix of defrosted bloodworms and brine shrimp. He seems to eat more when I combine them together then when I offer them separately.

Very cool... now we need a feeding video
