So after about 6 weeks of offering my fire eel (Apollo) frozen food and him rejecting it, he took a bite, and every day he (or she) seems to be more and more interested in it. For a while it was he would just hide from me. Now every time I walk into my room he peaks his head out and if I open the lid he dances for me. I am ecstatic because now I don't have to make the hour drive (each way) for the only thing he would eat before, live black worms.
But, in this pic its a mix of defrosted bloodworms and brine shrimp. He seems to eat more when I combine them together then when I offer them separately.
