My Eel throwing a fit

I added a new 10-11 inch black ghost knife and my tyre track eel immediately went for him. I divided a tank and he’s been throwing a fit ever since. He is sticking his head into every bar and he’s made it through 3 times, but this time I extended the divider from top to bottom.

I recall that the tire track eels can be very territorial and aggressive. How big is the eel?

He’s 14 inches and he holds a grudge against some of my fish in the tank.

It will probably be an issue between them. The tire track eel is bigger and can bully the knife. How big is the tank?

The tank is a 300, but if it doesn’t work out I’ll let the ghost knife live in my 210 when the fish in there get bigger.
