My Endli Ate My Bowfin :(

Against my better judgment, I rushed into getting a bowfin. I was waiting for a 5-8" one for my monster tank to come along, but settled on a 3" one for my grow-out tank out of impatience.

Needless to say, it took less than a day for my 5" Endli to eat him.

Waiting for a bigger one to come along now, again. Lesson learned. :banhim:
 
Dang i have the same situation going on with an afrowana right now.. Hopefully my luck is better than yours.. Sorry for the loss man :(
 
That sucks, but im glad the endli got a happy meal.

wow that sucks, i had a 4 inch endli eat my 3 inch del, then i got a 3 inch lap and 7 inch retro. the endli attacked both of them and tried to eat them. i got rid of him and got another del later on. samething happened my lap ate my del again. lowerjaw bichirs are down if the fish can fit in the mouth. get another fo sho just make sure hes bigger
