i was in my room trying to decide if my pbass were big enough to move into the 150gal. then i thought "hmm, lemme see how much bigger the fei feng is since he was the first to get moved in from my growout tank". i walk up front and what do i know. the fei feng i've grown from 1" to almost 3.5" is gone... he cleaned the entire tank, kept it spotless from scraps and algea and he's gone. i look at my endli and his tummy is fat and he's jus relaxin as if nothin happened. damn him. 20dlr feeder, but my endli looks like it got bigger :headbang2

Yeah, they do that when they get the chance. Sorry for your loss though.

yup, just the other day my senegal became a murderer.....of course it was just a feeder fish ment for my african leaf......but damn, after that he went on a rampage, probably nailed around 4-5 feeders.....the leaf just got some very good competition at feeding time.

he's not agressive at all tho. he jus sits there day in and day out. but he claimed that fei feng with eaze. must keep tankmates above 5" lol

how far away from like omaha NE are you ethnics? i never noticed u lived in sd....and southeast part too.

By endi also claimed its first victim this week. I found my Pearl Gourami with a nice hole out of its belly. I think its odd because I've had this particular bicher with this gourami and other smaller fish for months. New tank syndrome perhaps?

Bichirs are not aggressive by nature, if aggressive they would already would have torn all the fishes apart once introduced. They are juz following their intincts, hungry big fish eat helpless small fish :D

Try larger tankmates which are not same body structures as bichirs and i assure ur bichirs will nv touch them at all.
