my endlis keep fighting the lil guys a bully!

so im keeping a 8 inch endli with a 14 inch endli n the lil guy is non stop nippin the big guy. ive kept delhezis senegals endlis and ornates all togeather and in 3 years never seen bichirs be mean like this.

would it be best to seperate them? or let them scrap it out. the tank is well fed no ones hungry houses vatf, motoro rays, n some baby jack ds with crayfish here and there keeping it clean.

the lil guy keeps going after the tail and eyes...

tankmates are not being targeted, except they try to ambush my vatf but they to quick.


im thinking its a teritorial thing but i havent seen bichirs act like this. anyone else have bully bichirs.could my lil guy be a bad apple?

It might be the crayfish that's doing the damage. Your bichirs might go blind from those nasty claws. Pics of that tank?

Probably should seperate. Polys are hit and miss with aggression, but in my experience the bullying will only get worse.

if a crayfish nips a tail of a bichir could that be enough to atract another bichir to bite the same spots? mabey seperate till the big guy heals i just noticed he does have tiny damage now.

could a 3/4" crayfish cause harm to these fish? they normaly get eaten before they grow large.
