So I got my escondidos from Ken about a bit over a week ago now. The biggest was about 1.2" the other 3 were a bit less than an inch. The biggest is now pushing over 2" just a week later and is a gluttonous pig. I throw in quite a few sinking mini pellet hikari bio gold because there are a fair amount of fish in the tank... this guy will take 2-3 pellets at once in his mouth, swim to a corner, spit them out, then guard them as he chows them down. He's growing at a great pace and even though he's still quite grey/white, the blue spangling that is starting to show up is incredible. the other 3 escondido are now about 1.5" as well and one of them has some very intense spangling already. very very bright and colorful. They are pigs as well, just not as bad as the largest one yet.
