Hate to preach, but any chance you have a minimum 120 for him once he hits 5-6 inches? Beautiful tank though. Where'd you get your fish? Having a hard time finding a actual baby. Keep getting these 3-4inch stunted ones who have been In holding tanks forever.

Please give him a cave to hang out in. He'll be much happier! I also agree with the above post.

The driftwood has a cave formation in the bottom of it which he uses. As for whether a 48"x18" tank is appropriate for a 6" fish...I'd say it is. And yes, I already have a 120 set up housing some growouts which will eventually become his home. Thanks so much for the concern.
