My falkneris

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Very interesting animals but to my untrained eye they do not appear to be P. falkneri. I wanted to immediately jump and say P. castexi but I dont think they are that either!

LoL can we call them P. sp "brazil" like those other un-IDed brown rays out of Peru?

Look like Jags to me.

I don't think those are castexi. If they are not real Falkneri then I don't really want them anymore as that is exactly what they are supposed to look like (in my mind anyway).

Look at the tail, look at the gold ring look at the pattern. Nice Falkneri!

They are marked up just like Jaguar otorongos but the color seems to be faded. Nice looking rays but not falkneri

If they're not falkneri and castexi, then what are they? Everyone seems to have different 'opinions' of what falkneri 'should' look like, and yet no one ever seems to have anything concrete.

So how is it so evident by tail? Since there is no white in the tail then it's NOT Castexi/Ontorongo?

Does the colored ring around the disk make it Falkneri?
