My Fall Collection.....of feeders
These are invasive exotic cichlids that can be found in most Florida Waterways.
It takes me at least an hour to drive to the LFS and pay anywhere from 15 to 25 cents each for feeders. I can't stock up on LFS bought feeders as most of them die after the first couple of days.
I collect these from the backyard lake. This tank have the surplus cichlids from yesterdays collection trip. Took me about an hour to catch them. There are Uropthalmus, tilapias, and jewels, in this tank. The surplus mosquito fish(es) are in a bigger tank.
It's great fun tracking them down, catching them, and feeding them to my monsters. The best part is it's free.
