my fancy gold fish permanent home

I have my 180 sat up with 9 fancy gold fish. I want to do my 180 as a my native tank. I am trying to fit a "box" pond theme to save wall space in the FR. would a 4ftx4ftx 13 in, work for a life home for them. I think the 13 in height would give it a pond feel

The total volume is pretty small for 9 large fancies, you'd have to do a lot of water changes but it could work.

For the 13" height are you talking water level or tank level (such that water level would be more like 10")? I don't think the fish would mind being shallow, again I'd be more worried about the total water volume (130 gallons for 9 fancies full grown is going to be messy).

How big / old are they now?

less than golf balls. yea when they get big, I may have to cut some down, but need the leingh, why I am choosing the width
