I love em! Goldfish are so underrated they're so nice my favorite are the calico ryuken or however you spell it.
I love the tail on the red cap oranda. Very cute.

I never really had any until now. Always just had feeders. They are cool. One time my wife looked at a feeder I had in for my goonch cat and said she liked it. I though here is something to get my last non running tank going. Picked up the orandas. Then got the black moor. On a feeder trip I saw the red and white so in it went. Lol...

Lol just like me. My hubby won't let me near the goldfish tanks at the petshops, because I'm almost guaranteed to want one, and don't have the room for any more...
Also, how big are your orandas? I've had mine for a while now and he's barely grown.. I know orandas don't grow very fast (when compared to other goldfish) but I'm wondering if maybe mine was stunted before I got him. He went in a 200ltr tank for a while then I upgraded them to a 400ltr tank, all my other goldfish are HUGE compared to poor little Finn-Lee.

They are all in the 3-4" range. They have grown a bit but not to much. With it being winter and cold here the tank is a bit cold. I know that has an effect on the growth. Yours may be the same way. Depending on how long you have had it. I just looked at my tanks temp last night and it was about 63-65°f.
I've had him for a couple of years now and his tank has always had a heater in it (for plant's) at 22°c, and it gets much warmer in summer, the tank never sits below 27°c in summer. He's grown about an inch, maybe an inch and a half since I got him in 2014.
