Out of the 10 widebars I've owned, this guy is by far my favorite. He doesn't have perfect stripes, but he is incredibly stable and has an incredible yellow base color. Sorry for the not so great pics, but I'm afraid I have a not so great camera.

I judge the stability of a datnioid above his stripes, ofcourse a combination would be great, but a stable yellow datnioid over a "perfectly" striped datnioid any day! Concluding...I love this datnioid! :)

Thanks all for the kind comments.

Loubard I definitely agree about the color and stability factor. I personally rank them in this order:

1. body shape
2. color/stability
3. stripes

One of my favorite traits of the widebars is their taller bodies. I have seen a few that aren't as tall as most and they really don't appeal to me. That is why I place body shape first, even though it doesn't come into play very often.

The second most appealing trait is the contrast between the dark stripes and the light body. This is why stability is so important.

To me, the shape of the stripes are like icing on the cake. The better they are, the sweeter it is.
